Hello Internets…

I took a little hiatus from the public blogging world. I needed some time away from the mundane chore of posting. I was down to posting less than once a week and was just not feeling it. I also needed to get away from the drama that was created by a select few in the blogging world and knew I had enough.

I then started a family blog for my sister who is now in Africa and my other siblings. I wanted somewhere to talk about what was going on in my day to day life without it being posted for all the world to see. Well I miss talking to the world so here she goes again.

So a lot has gone on in the past few months. I had a great summer and I am back in school. I have two semesters left which is awesome. I am so very excited about that.

I just received a promotion at work and well all is going awesome there. I love it. I could not ask for a better boss or a better environment to work in. It really is great to be back in the work force in a place that I love.

My sister had her third baby on July 21st! She is beautiful and wonderful and I can not wait to meet her at Christmas. We will be spending a month in Africa over the holidays and I am looking forward to it. I am able to talk to the kids quite a bit through Skype and I am able to keep up to date on their lives via their family blog but it is still not the same as seeing them.
